The Kansas River Bridge and North Lawrence are excellent subjects, especially during the early mornings of the winter months, as the sun brightens the sky above the structures. A relatively short lens was used with the view camera to engage a wide view of the river and city. Placing the lightening sky on approximately zone VI, a medium aperture resulted in a 60 second exposure. The result is the smooth apprearnce of the clouds and the soft reflections in the water.
