	On returning from a spring trip around Kansas, we decided to take a short detour into the Flint Hills. This overlook with the lone tree is typical of the almost endless expanse of grassland often seen in the Hills. The cumulus clouds were also worthy subjects in their own right, and a #12 filter was used to increase their contrast slightly. As typically happens, the clouds formed a nice variation on the distant hills and valleys.
